Welcome to the website of Kenji Takeda, Senior Lecturer in Aeronautics in the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Southampton.
Research
My main research interests are in aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, flight simulation, parallel and distributed computing.
I am co-Director of the Microsoft Institute for High Performance Computing at Southampton.
Teaching
I teach on the Aeronautics & Astronautics undergraduate course, and Race Car Aerodynamics MSc course at Southampton.
I also teach the Vehicle Dynamics e-learning course as part of the BAE SYSTEMS Virtual University.

Schools Outreach
Inspiring youngsters in science, engineering and maths is one of my missions. I run the Future Flight airliner design competition, as well as residential courses at Southampton and Greenpower. As you can see above, I am also a member of the BLOODHOUND SSC Education Team :)
Interests
Flying radio-controlled airplanes is one of the things that keeps me busy when I'm not working. I recently started playing online casino. And got a free ipod signing up with princess casino Princess Casino
